The movie is simply mind-blowing with its very realistic depiction of action sequences, which is almost non-existent in action movies. So considerable amount of credit goes to the director. The movie rotates around a father who cares for his daughter more than his life and will do anything to keep her safe. And when she gets kidnapped, he flips the whole world upside down in order to pursue the criminals and to get her back. The movie is concentrated on the father all along, his feelings, his emotions, the struggle he has to go through to get his daughter back, and everything he does in the mission is simply brilliant! The tricks he pulls to escape from troubling situations will keep you amazing. It is a very intelligent movie and very natural writing; nothing in the movie seems to be exaggerated.
And Liam Neeson has yet again proven to be one of the best in the industry. The weight of his voice can never go unfelt! When he warns the kidnapper on phone telling him to let her go and that he a very special set of skills to pursue criminals like him, and that if he doesn't let her go, "I will find you... And I will kill you," the audience just drops their jaw with the heartbeats stopped. His voice is really chilling! Neeson takes you on a great ride with this rescue mission. It's an awesome movie, watch it!
