SUPERBAD

Genre: Comedy
Direction: Greg Mottola
Leads: Michael Cera, Jonah Hill

Finally, after all the crappy college teen movies, here is one with quality humor!

The movie will literally make you roll on the floor laughing. Except exhibiting one of the best comedy elements, the movie also portrays the friendship ups-and-downs caused by what is called life. Kids have to grow up, move on with their lives, move to places, separate from older friends, make new ones, and it is difficult repeating this everytime, especially when you are about to lose a friendship that had been growing since ages. Behind the teen booze-and-party tradition of current generation depicted, the movie beautifully displays the bond of friendship that most take for granted just because people are always around, and the disappointment caused when it has to break.

This may sound like it's a drama movie, but it's not at all it! The movie is filled with great comedy, awesome punchlines and hilarious events turning every few minutes. It's an ordinary teen comedy, only a lot better! Special hats off to Jonah Hill for cracking me up throughout the movie. A good work by Christopher Mintz-Plasse too. Most comedy movies, especially teen, do not have any sense of direction, acting or humor quality. It's just about how wild can they make it. Rarely comedy movies break bounds and reach this quality!
