This is not a great movie but considering the other movies from the 80's, it is good enough. The comparison between the civilized people from today's world and the uncivilized bushmen from the isolated part of the world who have no idea about the society apart from their small community in their place, has been done very brilliantly. The direction is amazing, especially compared to other movies from the 80's.
Andrew Steyn has done a very childish role. The comedy is a bit stupid at times, at other times, it is only foolish. And a few times, it is actually witty. But overall, the movie is quite funny. The movie seemed to be more of an innovative one, rather than comedy, though it is funny. But it felt like a long drag. The concept was good and it kept me entertained for around the first half. But from interval towards the end, it started to turn a bit boring.
It was alright and with a very good moral. At times, it will make you wonder if we really are the evolved version...
