HANNA

Genre: Action Mystery Thriller
Direction: Joe Wright
Lead: Saoirse Ronan

The entire movie is basically just a long chase. The storyline was very poor but the direction, cinematography and sounds were amazing. The movie kinda reminded me of Bourne Identity but it fails to reach that level of mystery revelations. It is watchable and action movie fans might enjoy this one. But I'd surely not recommend it.

The rating is completely for the direction and not for the plot.

RATING:

SOUL SURFER

Genre: Biography Drama Sport
Diretion: Sean McNamara
Lead: AnnaSophia Robb

Anna looks really, really beautiful! And I cannot stress that enough. Really, really beautiful!

The story is inspiring but it's a bit slow and nothing much new comes up. The writing and direction is  good and the movie is quite touching as it has its moments which skip your beats. It's a nice movie. Light and simple... I would recommend it when you want something mild and heart-touching. Wonderful movie.

F.A.L.T.U.

Genre: Comedy Drama
Direction: Drama
Leads: Ritesh Deshmukh

This is just a bad duplication of the Hollywood movie Accepted. The movie goes smooth, atleast till the interval. That is how long it takes to start the actual concept -inventing the college. So it definitely suffers lack of content. It didn't bother me that much but the post-interval movie just gets way too boring.

I really had higher expectations from the movie as the concept was simply mind-blowing. But this movie made the entire concept feel a lot imaginary and it will even ruin the impact of the original movie, if you watch it after this watching one. So I'd suggest if you want to go for this one, watch Accepted first.

The acting is bad, the direction is worse and the ending is the worst. Throughout the movie, I was looking forward for a long speech in the climax that would touch the hearts of the audience and make them feel the reality of the system. But it just ends in two lines and a total impractical conclusion for the group. The ending is complete bullshit and completely destroyed the whole movie. This movie could have been one of the best ones in Bollywood if they would have duplicated Accepted well enough, but it just turned out to be another flop.
